Before the recovery ship arrived, one of the emergency floats deflated. There were no reported injuries. It landed upright, but later took in water as it was waiting for its rescue ship. It was rebuilt by Alpine Aerotech, a Bell Helicopter Textron Approved Customer Service Facility specializing in structural repair. |
